Family shoot – Jess and her munchkins

This may in fact be my favourite shoot I have ever done, not the least because it is so wonderfully personal.

Jess has a spot up in the hills of Bilpin, a spot that she’s been going to yearly since she was a small girl. An orchard playground and a particular tree, visited every year as the leaves turn yellow and red. Now that Jess has two little people of her own, her yearly visits have taken on a whole new dimension of fun, autumny goodness.

This tree is special. It has a magic to it. And not only are her children beautiful, they’re also almost disgustingly sweet. They brought heart-shaped stickers and purple wool to decorate their beloved spot.
