There’s not much like I like better than a gorgeous Greek Orthodox christening in Sydney. This baptism took place at St Gerasimos Greek Orthodox Church in Leichhardt, and the church was filled with family and friends there to celebrate little Dimitri’s big day. I just love the love that is evident at christenings – everyone is there for the same purpose, and there are hugs and kisses and cuddles galore. My documentary approach to coverage is ideal for occasions like this, where an eagle eye and a silent foot is a pre-requisite, and where people don’t want to be disturbed in the moment or dictated to – they just want to enjoy themselves! I love that at Dimitri’s christening, the ceremony included his two big brothers, as well as other important figures in his life.
I’m based in the Hawkesbury, Sydney, but I travel, you know. I’d love to attend your christening, baptism, or naming day too. To see more of my christening work, click here. I’d love to know what you think, so if you have thoughts or questions, you can feel free to contact me here.
